05 RXP Possiible to change prop without removing driveshaft?
I want to change props but dont wont to pull the drive shaft because I know if I pull the drive shaft, I will have have to pump the engine oil out first. Can this be done?

Just pull the pump and let the driveshaft hang till you re assemble I do this all the time and never had a problem.

Sounds good, I'll give it a try. I didnt know how hard it would be to get the prop back on the shaft with it hanging.

On the RXP there is enough room to get your fingers over top of the pump and guide the driveshaft into the impeller. On all my old two strokes I had to get underneath and push the driveshaft up with a screw driver.
With the pump off and the driveshaft hanging definately do not start it and I would not trailer it anywhere as the driveshaft bouncing around will damage something.

There is no need to drain the oil to pull the D-shaft it might drip alittle but it wont pour out.
