    First mods for my 14 P-X

    I bought it, just haven't seen it yet. It's in NY, and I'm in Fl for 3 more months. Thinking about taking theses parts with me, and just do these mods for the first year:

    SCOM
    15/20Solas
    Kanaflex air
    Worx grate

    next year I'll do the charger, injectors, and whatever else. I'm happy running around 75. Comments and advice?

    Get a after market i/c. I personally don't trust that doo has fixed the i/c problems yet. Get a 08/09 x cooler and rip on...
    Too much long term damage is done when the i/c craps out.

    If you might go crazy down the track with mods the scom wont be needed you will need a v tech etc.
    you could do this up front and save the money on the scom

    Can I take the inter cooler off my 08 and swap with my 2014?

    I thought the 14 had a different intercooler than the 12-13. Is it still not as good as the older one's? And would my 14 intercooler work on my 08?

    No SCOM. You'll still be speed limited by the 8040 rpm rev limiter. My SCOM went in the trash. It's a useless marketing gimmick.

    Go vtech. Don't bother sending you're ecu out for reflashing either. That's a waste too. Ask me how I know.

    With all the failed i/c of the recent past I wouldn't trust my 15k+ ski with any i/c other than from years that I can trust.
    Once an i/c craps out your ski is doomed for future issues.
    Just sell the stock cooler to off set the cost of a known reliable i/c.

    The 13s were suppose to be the big fix to the i/c issue and now we hear they are failing.
    Dooo you want to risk it????
