    clutch slipping question

my clutch on my 2003 sc gtx slipped about 2 weeks ago i already had it upgraded to the 2006 clutch repair kit which included the shaft my question is do i need to have the oil pump checked the washers from the previous clutch seemed intact its only the clutch and the shaft that had the problem. the shaft had deep markings on them i could have it machined but i just decided to buy the ugraded one to be safe im kinda worried that some particles might get into the engine.... i need your input guys.thank you so much>

the only time you inspect the oil pumps is when the ceramic clutch disks disentegrate and fall off the shaft.

Your '03 clutch was metal, no ceramic to worry about.
