SCOM RIVA vs R&D
Is one better than the other in any way?
Also, will the speedo read over 67 with the SCOM?

I have a Aussie SCOM but some say the r&d is easier to install otherwise the r&d and riva are the same, and no the speedo will never read more than 67

Alright. thanks for the help. I'll probably wind up going with the R&D.

I have the R&D. Its very easy to install. One part plugs into an auxiliary battery terminal and another wire gets placed into the place of an existing wire. Only takes a few minutes.

Is it easy to disconnect when taking it in for warranty work ? The Riva instructions talk about cutting, splicing wires, etc

R&D SCOM doesnt require and cutting or splicing. It can be removed easily.

bite the hand that' feed you?? What are you talking about??
you think Jerry's gonna sell products That Guarantees engine failure??
I and few others with the 300s have 100+ hrs no issues with either SCOM..
Lets just say there's always a certain risk/reward factor when enhance the engines power whether it's a SCOM,ECU reflash bigger pulleys etc.. But that risk you learn to accept..
