    Twin 900 cc speedster

Who will be the 1st to install 2 of these gas misers in 1 of the older twin engine jet boats? The people that I knew that owned these boats stock thought they were great, but always complained about the fuel consumption-- problem solved

Unless you find 2 totaled units, it is not cost effective.

The Spark motor retails for $7399!!!!!

Several different ways to go about it, but 1 way comes to mind-- buy 2 $5K sparks, remove the parts that are needed for the conversion, part out the rest. If the motors retail for $7.5 K then the remaining parts should retail for $5K or so, recoop $5K between the pair and it doesn't sound too bad. Take the speedster 2 stroke running mint condition machine and part out what is not needed for the conversion-- motors, jet pumps, electrical for another $4K or so. $10K - $5K - $4K = $1K

2 year or less payback from gas savings alone, with more performance to be had from vetch tunes (85 hp going to 110). I am sure there will be several of these conversions made, I just want to read about them

I knew of a person that used to buy canam 800's new to part them out-- he made a lot of $$ doing it.

I am sure MANY different conversions will be made using this new 900 cc 4 stroke from boats to standups-- I just like reading about them and hope threads are made, so that I may get some reading enjoyment from them

If you can find something like this for a good deal:

$$'s can be made on the boat conversion

Why on earth would SeaDoo think that someone would actually pay $2400 more for an engine than they can get a complete ski for ??
