    1997 sltx

    anybody here own one??would like to know if theres a support under the seat going from left to right.

    There is NOT one on the 96, and there isn't one on the 97 SLT 700 Hull... I assume they use the same hull as the SLT 700 was setup with 700 and 1050 motor mount locations......

    Watch out for this area on these. We've had 2 crack like this in the same spot on a 97 and a 98

    This should help you

    Who has that boat? How did the top deck come off?
    That boat was scrapped. It was the first to get that god awful crack from keel to seam. We then had another 1 do the same thing this last year.

    Not sure what you mean by how did it come off? Not real easily.

    Pretty sure they just took a circular saw to the seam glue once the rub rails were removed. (I was doing install work on the other hull when the guys were demo-ing this one, so I'm not 100% positive.

    My 98' is starting to do that. It has the cracked ribs same side too...
