    Check your intake mesh

just another heads up Not sure whether anyone has bothered to check their air intake mesh/flame arrester. If you have ever had towels or similar in the front compartment I can now assure you the fibres do get sucked through the ecu cover into the intake.

These pics are only after around 60hrs.

I suggest hiring a midget to get in there. Although I didnt but hell it took some ingenuity to reach in and clean.Click image for larger version.

I have always kept the water cover on my riva free flow
And it's surprising how much fluff collects on it

In the Pics there looks to be some crystal spots in the air intake also. Could be some salt deposits and some deposits mixed in with the fibers.

I think it may be a god idea to leave the flame arrerstor piece in there. These Skis suck in so much air, a loose zip tie or small washer could get sucked in there and that flame arrestor is the only line of defense. JB

I think I have some pics of a local ski that looked just like that but a little worse, cleaned it and he found his lost speed

I have cleaned in there a few times. It definitely is a hard to reach area! You have to dive in head first.
