Fishing The James River
Sunday I took my jet ski to Williamsburg Va. and went fishing for Catfish up in the James. I was using cut chunks of spot and eels for bait. Did not have a bite all day, water temps were about 36 degrees. I talked to a couple other guys on the water and at the ramp who had the same results.
I did see six Bald Eagles along the James, one of them had to rub it in my face as he swooped down grabbed a fish and flew off. Ha! I still had a good time in real calm waters on a sunny day.
Yesterday I was treated to the Bald Eagles at my house giving me a brief fly over, a rarity this time of year as most of the time they are in the nest off of my front yard. Here are a couple of pictures from the last couple of days.
