    Stupid question...or not??

Is there such a thing like a FM radio to install on a PWC? Maybe with some waterproof speakers? Man that would be nice...

Ok... I get it. It was a stupid question

no question is dumb! I think the new Honda has XM radio. When we had our little boat, we installed a standard size din radio in the dash with a waterproof cover that flipped up. I think one cool thing to do is to find a stereo that you could mount under cover like in the hull up front, that is remotely controlled through a wired or wireless remote. A good place to start would be: BoatersWorld or West Marine...

small waterproof speakers could possibly be installed behind the shroud somewhere!? maybe?...Good luck...PR...

I would love to be able to do something like that. Especially if its XM. When your chillin on a beach somewhere, music is nice to have!! Sea doo should have thought of this for at least one of their models!!

Who knows maybe I'll be one of the first!!

If you are an AWA member, look in the Nov/Dec issue on page 17, it`s actually a 200 watt Clarion Marine Audio Stereo-CD Player, model # M335, with wired waterproof remote, model# M202RC-RET, with a XM SkiFi unit mounted in the glove box. The speakers are Bose Model 151 indoor/outdoor mounted to the hull up and inside of the fairings. See if you can get that issue from someone if you don`t have it...PR...

    oops, I fudged!?, it`s not a Honda it`s a 2002 SeaDoo GTX...

I'm gonna get my wife to get me a XM MyFi xm2go for xmas and I plan on using that. It is small enough to wrap up and hopefully not get wet. If it does, I guess I'm out a $275 radio....

many people have installed radios and custom systems on their skis. I've seen 4 speakers, i've seen a subwoofer under the seat, i've seen amplifiers, remote controls....

check out polyplanar. They have a fully enclosed watertigh shell that you can put the head unit receiver into. then you can run 2 speakers or 4 speakers depending how crazy u wanna get. find a marine speaker or speaker with polypropelene surrounds and install them in the mirror buckets. or drill thru the hull and put speaker grills.

    there's tons of options.

do a search on www.sea-doo.net you will find a ton of posts and pictures on this subject with some crazy ideas. i was into the idea fr awhile and lsot interest, but i had a collection of nearly 50 photos of all diff skis and stereo setups, i deleted them all.

Just get one of those nice radios that's designed for use in your shower at home.. I'm sure that will do

I'm getting an Ipod for christmas and i've already found a water tight case to mount in the glove box with a wire going from the case to an ear phone jack on the outside of the glove box. All i have to do is put on a pair of cheap headphones and plug in. If i lose them then oh well they may cost 10 bucks.
