Gonna need more proof than a salesman in a showroom pitching you a ski...

Many different theories out there…Ever since I decided I was going to buy a Jet Ski, I’ve done a lot of research and reading about the various products and manufactures etc.

Arguments for Kawi continuing to make a Ski: rich history (40 years), heavy involvement in the race circuit, obvious knowledge of engines and R&D etc.

Arguments for them leaving the game: poor sales, apparent lack of interest in the conventional PWC market (see poor dealership networks and boat show display), as well as them leaving the snowmobile market relatively quickly. Granted that was in the early 80’s and they were only in the “game” for 6 or 7 years….

Having said all that, I “think” Kawi will be here for at least the short term (maybe next 5-10 years?). It wouldn’t shock me if they eventually got out of the game simply because Yama and Seadoo seem to be running away with it…

So even if you buy a Kawi today, it will likely have zero effect on you or the product. You are still getting a great machine, and even if they disappeared over night, parts and service will not be an issue for the next decade. I could be totally wrong, but that’s just my 2 cents…

Yeah,,,, the business is so bad Australians need to wait till 2015 to buy a 310..........true to say demand is higher than supply.

You could easily argue the 310x is without doubt the best look and best performance stock ski on the market (as is 300x) with year on year gaining them more market share

I hope you're not serious about 2015 for AUS!
