    Porsche 911 SC Targa

Well, with the bad luck I had with the Vette, I just got back from New Jersey a couple of days ago with this. It is a 1980 911 SC Targa, 3.0(European version which was converted to US specs). I actually had the exact same year and model in 1986 and loved it, which is why I jumped all over it. I've already been in touch with a well known restoration place and the money that was going into the Vette (and probably more) will be going into this project..

Thanks Bob...... It's not a Saleen or Corvette, but, is still in a league of its own.....

Hey Hoss, as far as glued to the road in hairpin turns, you got that right... 20 years later, I still remember those days....

    Nice Porche Red Devil !

One of my best friends I work with has a patent on a rear cooling system for that model. It has an LS1 supercharged V8 in it
    He's also done the LS1 conversion in a 914.

He also sells conversion for them.
No cutting involved. All bolt on conversion.

Grew up down the street from a cat named Hines. He designed and built a 2 cycle for them. Was denied a patent for the motor by the feds. He is now in Atlanta (moved there `bout 15 years ago). I`ll have to ask his brother Alex Peters where he is now and what he`s doing. Cat new his chit and that red car hauled butt.

Nice. I've always been a Porsche fan. I'd luv to own a GT2 or GT3, black of course.

Good luck with your resto project.
