    Fluids

So I'm interested to know how often you guys are having to top up fluids like oil and coolant.

I was checking my ski over in the garage last night and noticed the coolant level is about 2cm below the 'Cold level' indicator on the coolant reservoir.

Got about 7 hours on my 90HO 3UP, and it's my first ski.

Is it a case of just topping up the coolant, or could this low level be indicating there's a problem?

This should get done on pre-delivery at the dealer.

All the sparks I've seen have been down 1-2cm on the level, new or old.

Oil seemed in the right spot on all.

I've since replaced my oil and coolant to suit high stress turbo application.

While we are on the oil subject, what oil is acceptable to use in these other than the Seadoo stuff? I would assume there is a Mobil One that would suite it well for just normal NA applications. I have always used M1 10w-30 in my VX110 but may switch to 0w-40 this season.

With the heat exchanger being off to the side of the hull vs the ride plate being used as the heat exchanger it is difficult to run the ski long enough during PDI to properly burp/bleed the cooling system. That being said, top off the coolant and check it again after your next ride and see if the level drops. If it drops a 2nd time, I would say there might be a problem.

The manual says 5-40 or 10-40 BRP synthetic blend OR a Quality synthetic with a API of N?
I always used Castrol 10-40 RS 4T Jaso MA2 in my supercharged Sea Doo,s. Wonder if it would be OK?
