Draining Fuel Tank FZS
just wanted to know the best way to drain the tank?

I would take the black rubber cap off the top of the tank and drain from there

I was going to put a syphon hose down the filler neck but I don't want to damage the sender unit for the gauge. Is there anything in the way or to damage by going straight down the filler?

I have used a clear 1/2 inch od hose with no issues...on both FZR and VXR...

I found it very easy to remove the filler tube at the tank. I struggled to get much gas out going down the filler tube and the black cap is a bitch to get off.

I took off the rubber cap that is held on with a hose clamp and used my oil sucker to start a siphon. Once it started, I drained it into a gas can.
