Turning my ski to turbo....
Hi everyone im interested in turning my 2008 rxp-x 255 to turbo. Can you please give me a list of the things i need to change and buy. Also how hard is it to install it. Can you do it yourself or you need to be a qualified mechaninc. I have worked on some cars and know how turbo works so i have the basic knowledge. Cheers

U will need to look into Pressure relief kits for that ski. You dont want to overstuff the pump at high speeds. Search "PRV " & overstuffing

Engine management system (example Motec)
Turbo up/down pipe waterjacketed
intercooler upgrade and piping
the biggest prop you can get
valve train upgrade to spin higher rpms
reinforce or aluminum intake
Built engine with good rods and pistons for higher boost (you can do lower boost and stock engine)
Lightened flywheel is a good idea, ARP flywheel bolts also a good idea
wastegate system and BOV system
Good fuel pressure regulation
Shark or other oil return supercharger block off hole
The need to never check supercharger slip again
The want to go crazy Fast

If you want a kit like Mine, My welder is all setup to make more up/down water jackeketed pipes and can water jacket the Borg Warner Housing, read my build thread. Also he can make the down pipe to exit through hull vs water box.
I did the water box setup to keep it quiet.
