    Reference check on shoe

Hey guys, this is going to sound like a stupid question, but here it goes. Trying to re-set my shoe, I put a level on the bottom and can not get the bubble to line up. My shoe is uneven by a little bit. Can someone check their shoe with a level and tell me what it says? Big thanks.

Dont pay any attention to the bubble in the level. If it is a 4' level put in on the hull where it will intersect both bolt holes in the shoe. Then just make sure the shoe is recessed above the level.

The 4 ' foot level has been place over the holes along the hull. The distance between the shoe and the level is even on both sides. I was just stumped to see the shoe uneven from side to side.

If you use Dukes pics, and the gap is the same on both sides thats all you really need to worry about.
