    2014 yamaha fx ho sparkarrestor

    Is there a video to show how to remove the spark arrestor and I have been told I need a collerwhat ever that is lol and will it help top speed and where is the best place to flash the ecm thanksfor your help

    You remove the fuel rail, wiring harness, intake manifold. There is a "ribbon" spacer that goes in between the manifold and the throttle body. You would replace it with a RIVA or R&D Intake Manifold Upgrade Kit (around $40). Put it all back together and there ya go.

    Check u-tube and querry Yamaha ribbon delete. There's a video I believe on a VXR but same engine. Check Green Hulks performance link at the top of the page and you'll find the manifold upgrade. It looks like an aluminum tube/pipe that goes in where the ribbon/spark arrestor was.
