New functions in Mapeditor for Spark !
We are working hard with the editor for Sea Doo Spark.
Completely new software so it takes a bit to ad functions.
The idea with the mapeditor is to put the power of mapping / fine tuning in the hands of you guys.
(This section applies to ALL bosch based skis , like spark, rxt, rxp-x and so on..)
With the editor you can play with fueling and spark and make you own custom maps.
At the same time we keep the advanced knock protection that will keep the you more or less safe.
But its still on your own risk!
So with the editor you can :
Edit fuel tables - fine tune for YOUR ski, especially good when you change intake and so on.
Edit RPM limiter
Edit ignition maps - a good ignition table is they key to power, try ad or remove a few degrees and see what happens.
(- don't play to much or you can damage your engine..)
In the Sea Doo Bosch ecu there is many ignition maps, some for normal mode and some for sport mode and so on.
In order to make it easier for you we made "Linked groups", when you edit one map in a group same changes will be made to the other maps in same group.
(You can also turn this function off and edit each map individually)
There is a small box called LINK that you can check / uncheck in the editor to turn on / off this feature.
REMEMBER, There is NO perfect map for every ski, just good base maps! In order to get best performance u need to log and finetune.
And with VTECH we let you do this yourself for a fraction of the cost of a stand alone system!
And.. The stock ecus knock protection system is the best for the Sea Doo skis!
There is no better then the Bosch ECU on this!
