help slt 750 where to get a engine??

I'm looking for a new or refurbished engine with a warranty preferably but I have no clue where to get one. so I bought the SLT 750 around June last year absolutely love it it's fun to cruise around on and to fool around on however I only got to use it for probably 15 hours at most until the rear piston blew upClick image for larger version.

ID:	323948 well I could not figure out why it went out I thought it was because the carbs were bad so I completely rebuild carbs 3 new pistons in one head one cylinder a triple outlet fuel pump for the carbs new fuel line new fuel selector valve new battery in and a battery kill switch in line so that it doesn't drain when not in use I got maybe 20 hours out of it and then the rear piston went out again. so it actually ended up being the crankshaft rod that holds the rear piston up that made the piston blow both times FMLspent all my money and it happened again I was so pissed. I don't want to do anymore engine work but I also don't want to sell the ski because I like it a lot plus I put all my money an time into it. so I'm wondering if anybody knows where I can get a 94 SLT 750 engine preferably new an with a warrantyClick image for larger version.

ID:	323951 and does anybody know if the 780 engine will work in a 94 SLT 750 and would there be any gains in performance or is it basically the same engine. and sorry for this being so long I was just trying to explain everything. thanks in advance for anybody who can help. O and completely unrelated to the topic does anybody know where I can get a 99 GSX limited within a 3 to 4 hour distance from Chicago Illinois thank you.

SBT.com $700 for a 750 or $700 for a 780, the 780 will work in your ski and give you alittle more power, or you can buy a crank from them for just $250 and a good cylinder on Ebay for just $45, if you go with a 780 you need to get the Reed spacers and studs from a 780 and cant remember maybe differant jets from a 780 as well, hope this helps, but even if you go with a 750 I would still get a set of reed spacers and studs.

to use a 780 you'll need a different exhaust manifold ,cdi and carbs
