Rossnemo Racing Hydrodrag Speed Alley pass

Great vid by Adam of my IJSBA World record setting pass in Superstock class at last sundays IJSBA Hydrodrag Speed Alley event. Water conditions were marginal but I hit a nice stretch of pretty good water on my first pass. Boats on lake constantly leave those small invisible rollers that are hard to spot until its too late. Was a great weekend and will be heading to Morgan City for round 2. See everybody there..

Ross did your gps on your ski match up with the radar or did it show a faster speed ?

Thanks guys, i rarely even use a gps anymore and didnt have it on during the pass. I usually tune off rpms and data log instead, unless im making a change on the pump somewhere. For the rpms i was turning i would have been right at 96.0 on perfect flat water. The water conditions scrubbed off some speed, was rough enough i had to jockey it a little to keep it hooked up.
Big thanks to Jim and his awesome plates. His VX plate is amazing at these speeds. When you get it shimmed just right it will not bounce, and the inverted skegs he cuts in them give it that on rails feeling. No lateral movement at all.

Agreed. I have tested multiple plates and Jim's VX plate has yet to be beat at top speed stability.
