I am curious as well about it I understand what it does compared to the scom but what is the install like and also once you override your gps and boost limiters wouldn't you be riding the rev limiter and need to re-prop. anyone have any experience first hand with the boost box

They both do the same thing but honestly save the cash and get a flash or Standalone. Yes, removing the gps with yield slight results but the factory rpm limit will still hold you back on mph.

ok thanks for the input I currently run Athena in mine but I have a friend wanting to be able to have the edge over a stock 260, couldn't find to many reviews on it to decide whether it is worth the coin

^if does give the slight edge over a stock ski because of removing the GPS governor but the performance getting to 69-70 isn't any better. The boost restriction that is taken away with the boost box or scom is when the ecu is limiting boost to control top speed via gps. So, scom and boost box's remove gps limit and as a result your boost will just be unrestricted but then your stock rpm limit and prop will be the next to stand in the way of going faster. Hope that makes sense.

I have one and no gain in top speed at all. Seems to launch and pull a bit better.

Both the SCOM and Boost Box still limit the ECU to 8040 rpm. Removing the GPS limit will require a repitched impeller and you will still be banging up against the 8040 rpm limit, torque limit, and boost limits and maybe get up to 72 mph.

    Waste of money.
