    Wear rings

    Is there much difference between OEM and aftermarket. I purchased aftermarket one and it has .4 of a mm gap to brand new impeller. Took ski out and it had some cavitation out of the hole. Not happy so have ordered a stainless steel one.

    Yeah put the old wear ring back in today and ski was fine. Can't wait for new one to come for USA. Here in oz the shops have nothing.

    What brand did you use? I use SBT'S in my RXP and for the price you pay for it you cant beat it. Never had a cavitation problem with it.
    there are some BS rings on ebay that are just junk you have to watch out for those.

    Any wear ring other than oem Seadoo or Riva stainless are junk. You get what you pay for

    Brought from jetsport in Queensland it is a wsm rang them and going to send it back the guy was helpful so far have ordered ssteel from USA due in a week or two

    Ironically a wear ring is the only part I've needed that the dealer had in stock here! Didn't even have the plastic steering nut!
