Keyport launch ,who's launched there what do you think?

Jersey Gents,I'm thinking of buying a season pass ,not bad $180 a yr or $ 25 a wknd launch (Ahh).
Been in that Bay many times from Sayreville/S river,so excess to SI or Raritan R ,Coney Is. looks not far...

What are the pros and cons?...is low tide an issue anywhere ,are the boaters nasty, heard it gets crowded on wknds ...

Dave, seriously, why would you pay $180 when you could get the state permit at Leonardo for $170? It's what 5 miles or so between the two? You also can use that at Liberty State Park to ride into NYC Harbor or Lake Hopatcong or others.

Been out from Leonardo ,location wise it's just as accessible to spots I like to go in time and distance , got the freebee from Little silver and Sayreville if needed..

NYC harbor and Hopatcong ain't gonna happen..

    Thanks Tom

How do you mean damage Scott..

There is only one Dock with one side with cleats to tie her up, that's the only issue that I can see that would concern me..

wanna see a free for all go to Leonardo!!

Im still checking places in the area ,there are a few private marinas in that area ,a few $s more won't hurt..

Wanna spend more time in the Raritan Bay,I like it and downtown Keyport has restaurants , bars, small beach and 15 mins from home..
    Thanks Scott

A buddy I was with had the side of his ski all marked up and rub rail hanging off. Happened when he was waiting to back his trailer down to retrieve the ski

Hmmm yeah know what you mean,a lot of nervous I'm in a hurry anglers to deal with..

That one sided dock can hold 2-3 skis no biggie but a boat 15' or more will take up the whole dock as you wait for him to park his car or retrieve it ,who knows how long he's gonna need...
