    Supercharger Belt is broken after 4 HR....

    Hi,

    Today i was riding 35 minutes. My Ultra 300X (2013) has now 4 HR on it. My Belt is broken today, look to the Pictures. What can be here the Problem ? My Engine is Stock.Click image for larger version.

    Tension pulley wheel not set correctly from factory, just a guess...

    Bring in to dealer it's under warranty.

    We don't hear much issue with 300X belt snapping nowadays.
    In fact since introduction of the 300X, you are probablry the first one to post a snapped belt with such low hours ( and not racing ).

    Check your tensioner pulley if not seized?!
    Also, do your use WD-40 and some kind of anti corrosion spray?!

    Yes, i use the SeaDoo Lube XPS Spray.

    Was the belt cover removed

    no, cover was bolt on....The Cover is also damaged now....

    You could check the tensioner yourself. Place a 19mm socket on the dummy hex nut on the tensioner assembly you should be able to compress the spring by pushing down on the socket towards the rh side of the engine from the rear. Check how free it moves, also check if the sc pulley spins freely and also check the idler spins freely. If all this is fine I have no idea how you broke a belt so early on.

    Maybe not a tensioner issue at all. The Belt itself could have been damaged when the Ski was built. JB
