Team Green 2014 Bridge to Bridge Sydney, Australia. Let the $hit talk begin.

Well its that time of year again where everyone distances' themselves from one another here in Australia, working behind closed doors and not disclosing any vital information that might give the opposition any advantage. The messages start flowing with pictures of GPS readings of very high speeds (normally taken from cars or freeways to intimidate your opponents). Its on for young and old.

Admittedly there were issues with the timing in 2012 so not all times after 3rd placing were recorded but the placings are correct.

With my GPRXP just about finished was thinking of taking it up there but being an old bloke that hasn't been over 75mph on a jetski let alone 85mph im a bit scared lol plus without some hrs of tuning it the last thing I want to do is blow it up ..... is that enough excuses ? Lol

I heard stock class is entered by some people with modded skis? Is this correct?

Certain mods are allowed Gianni even in stock class. I think OEM STOCK is the class where its straight out of the box stock.

um jim werent the results rectified in 2012 with kev and myself times coming in ahead of the open boats but missing out on outright placing because we were in stock class.

Corey that's all I found whilst doing a search. If you got them put them up please. I did highlight that paragraph in red regarding times, so the adjustments should be the overall placings but the class placings will remain the same?

    found this jim from ozpwc
"damo mal has my footage and he may shed some more light. kev and myself worked my time to be a conservative 29.15 kev was ahead by atleast 5-10sec so im guessing the 29min mark was broken pity about the timing."

i know mark was asked to hand his paperweight to me we talked about it but thats as far as it went

just found these old posts also

    Hi Guys,

Great write up by Kevin, and well done, 1st in stock, really great effort.

I had a chance to look at my footage on my go pro camera and checked out my race time, it looks like it worked out to be 29.30, I know that Kevin, Corey & Ricky were in front of me in stock, it looks like both Kevin & Corey pick up 2nd & 3rd outright respectively, we had some technical difficulty with our timer, so I do apologise to these guys who were not recognised for there efforts yesterday, Ricky picked up 4th overall and then it was a close battle between Jim, Mark & myself for 5th.

Not bad for some stock skis, but not good enough to catch Peter with his efforts of just over 26 mins.

I appreciate the couple of calls I received today from a few riders, glad to hear that they enjoyed themselves and plan on coming back next year, it makes it worth the effort when you speak a first time racer and his still on a high from his ride 24 hours later.

Thanks for being apart of a great race and hope to see you on the water again soon, Kevin needs some tips for my TX.

thanks ryan we checked my footage out over and over we totally agree with the timer running its a very good indication of the times we all had.
however jim and mark done a great job and we were all very close, top effort placing above the pro skis for 2nd and 3rd.
my pc isnt performing to well with downloads lately so i might shoot mal a copy to load onto youtube stay tuned
