    Carrillo Rod Bolt Stretch

Building my 1st 4 tech. New block, CP pistons & Carrillo rods. Stretched the rod bolts (M8 CARR) per Carrillo's instructions.

    Cyl#1 In Side .005 / Out Side .006 @ 27 Ft. Lbs
    Cyl#2 In Side .0055 / Out Side .005 @ 27 Ft Lbs
    Cyl# 3 In Side .0055 / Out Side .006 @ 27 Ft Lbs

Torque value look correct for the stretch? I asked Carrillo about the torque and they said not to worry about the torque value and just stretch the bolts. Appreciate any additional info.

Do NOT pay attention to torque. Stretching the bolts is fail proof.

Make sure you check rod bearing clearance.
