    More mods

    Hey guys I currently have a 255 rxpx 2010 with the following mods

    8650 reflash (les cooke)
    A kit x wheel on charger
    Valve retainers (les cooke)
    Opas block offs
    R&d intake grate
    Ride plate holes filled

    Im getting 74mph out of this setup

    Am thinking of doing the following:
    4" air intake
    Skat trak prop
    Bigger injectors and reflash to suit

    What do you guys think of this setup and how I will go gains wise?

    ? Also les likes the skat trak impellers over the solas.
    I want insane bottom - mid range with more mph also. Is it possible to increase top end with the skat?

    You need to get air in and out of that motor...The 4" will help feed that larger SC wheel, but you need to do something about that exhaust. Either gut the OEM box, or go with either the Riva or TDR box...Get that done and you will have a lot more power than now...

    If you want insane bottom and mid, I personally would go with a 3-blade prop. I've had both on my setup, and to me, nothing beats the pull of a 3-blade...

    I have a resonator bypass. Is that the same?

    And will I loose top end speed with the 3 blade?

    No, it is not the same thing...

    Going from the stock prop to a new prop will gain speed...you should be in the upper 70's with what you have and plan to install...


    Also, what is you rpm when you are @WOT?
    And how far open is your throttle?
    Are you banging the limiter?
    Where are you located?

    Im in australia.
    Ok so I should look into a complete exhaust system?

    RPM's are perfect, yet once you open the intake and exhaust up, you will be on that limiter...

    You can gut the exhaust like I did in the link, which is very cheap to do. You can reinstall it and keep the resonator bypass in...HOWEVER, if you go with something like a Riva/TDR box with a rear outlet, it will clean up the inside...give you direct access to the SC without having to remove the waterbox...and the rear exhaust will make it bark LOUD!

    Thx Danny. Is there any other way to do the exhaust other than a through hull or gutting the water box?

    Nope. 4"intake and water box are next on your list will what you have now like Danny said. If you gut your box, you can keep stock exit. If you go riva or TDR, your going rear exit.

    just be aware that both those boxes out of the back are LOUD, VERY LOUD
