Steering and handlebars?
How is the steering on the spark? Is there a lot of slop? What about the width of the handlebars? After riding my xp with umi bars and steering it would be hard to ride with a narrow setup and tons of slop. I wonder if we'll ever see aftermarket steering for the spark.

The steering is pretty good , you will have to change the full set up to like the old UMI set up ...
The more time I spend playing and working on the Spark the more u are amazed how well designed it is ...

steering is good as it new no slop
also no adjustment to change angle to suit your height so if your tall may find uncomfortable to ride for a long time like that.
I would like and haven't yet found some padding like some other skis have to cover the handle bar area as I have hit a few times.
If any body knows if some idea let me know.
I have tried some hard form and verco comes off

I would also love to be able to replace the stock white plastic piece on the handlebars with some sort of foam, just about knock your teeth out smashing into that hard plastic!
I am also quite interested in a full alloy bar setup, I renember seeing a picture on here of a spark in half with the UMI bars from RIVA if renembered correctly, looked OEM and the extra strenth wouldnt go astray. any one have any info??

Riva set-up is about $925, it's the same or very similar to the RXP-X 260 steering column ...

Quick easy handle bar padding
Just unclip the white plastic from the handle bars and it comes out easy I used a knee neoprene support padding from the cheap shop then just added some extra padding works well for when you hit them I don't know why not standard for a safety feature only ski I have owned that didn't have some sort of padding on the handle bars
