    Engine Mounts v Wave Jumping??

    Evening!

I have been doing a lot of reading up on the Spark and am very tempted to buy one, however i live in a coastal spot in the UK where the best riding is in the winter when the waves come rolling in, the slip is empty and the ocean is your own playground!

Anyway with that in mind i would be looking to put it through some hard winter use, HOWEVER i came across the following review which near the end gave me reason to question if the Spark would be up to it -

I have yet to see a craft in the flesh and cannot visualise the comments around the engine mounts, what are peoples thoughts on them and feeling of how they will stand up to the surf??

    Thanks in advance

    Si

I bought the 60hp and upgraded to the Vtech 109hp see video goes great.

as for engine mounts 50hrs so far no problems they look well designed as the rest of ski mounted low and to the side.

with good rubber mountings nice and strong also the muffler is low and well mounted great fuel mileage 4.7km/L

Thats encouraging - I have seen some of your videos so know it's not having an easy life!! I previously owned a Seadoo XPDi several years ago and despite RXP, Ultra 260 etc. it remained my favourite ski by far and hoping the Spark does the same for me!?!

keep you posted on a purchase!

The Spark has a over lock system nothing like the other Seadoos ...

Much stronger than the other Seadoo models ...

You will be fine out in the surf , I've been bashing mine out in the surf inc doing 180 nose stabs etc ... The only part breaking is me .... Lol ...

Thanks slasher - glad to hear it's taking a good beating although not so good it's breaking you! Lol!

The overlock system sounds interesting, I am looking forward to seeing one up close and in the flesh.
