    Riva Waterbox 15hp claim

Does anyone know the circumstances under which Riva got 15hp on the dyno with this waterbox? IE wheel, intercooler, rev limit, etc.

Most likely they are not talking peak hp numbers. Maybe somewhere in power curve (probably low end and midrange) there was a substantial increase in hp at a given rpm over the stock setup.

When I installed the RIVA waterbox the low end to to mid range had a more noticeable kick to it, but didn't gain any top speed.

It sounds like it does the job ! As for top speed im sure Riva did the correct home work and in ideal or close to you will see aprox 15bhp at some leval of stage they offer ..... which i guess they run it with E1 to gain max figures on a dyno

With modified craft it gives a better flow of exhaust gasses at bottom to mid range it sounds like but to give a gain of 15hp as stated it is tested on the Dyno in a controled test cell , and the on the water.

With my setup I had absolutely 0 rpm/gps speed difference when I removed the Riva box and put the stock one back in on the same day about an hour later. The only difference is you can no longer hear my ski 3 lakes away.

When you have a Vi-PEC the waterbox does make a difference when you tune for it.
