    Impeller torque wrench.

    Where and how much are you guys getting yours? Or are you doing the old German setting, gootantite?

    no german setting here...but tighter than dicks hat band....with a fair amount of anti seize

    Per the shop manual the SHO props are torqued to over 200 FT LBS!!!

    So put a crows foot on a torque wrench and get it done !!

    I found one that does 250 ft lbs max for 60$. The manual shows to put the torque wrench on the shaft with the shaft tool to torque it will a wrench is holding the impeller still?

    your motor will torque it to what it wants on the first hard pull. the prop seems
    to always be tighter to remove than what I put it on at.

    That's where u make your mistake if u tighten it up really tight the first Time then it will come off easier! If u only tighten a lil bit then the motor will tighten it to much and make it hard to get off
