    Picking up new machines

I am picking up 2013 rxt x 260 and wake 215. Are there specific items I should be looking for the dealer to check or prep? I have to drive LNG distance, so I want to make sure they are good to go.

Now if winter would just leave.

    Thanks Don

Are they brand new left overs?

Have the dealership check the engine-driveline to make sure they are straight. They've been known to be off from the factory.

Sure will be fun. I just bought a left over 13 TX. Has been a blast

If they are from a Dealership, best ensure:

    * All Recalls are applied and BUDS is connected to verify
    * Make sure you get the manual for the ski
    * There is a PDI checklist they go though and tick off - they have to go through this with you and they sign-off
    * There should be a SeaDoo training DVD that goes over iBR and a few other things about safety and operation
    * Ensure you at least get the details on the warranty (factory and B.E.S.T.), consider purchasing B.E.S.T)

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for replies. Yes these are brand new and I got 1 + 3 year warranty on the machines.

I highly doubt the dealer will disassemble and ck the driveline for alignment, especially for free. My 2013 PX was perfect after 40 hours of use. Just my .02

You are correct, we will not just disassemble a ski to check it. We have to see something wrong with it. If we do not find the alignment to be "off" we can not file a warranty claim and we will not get paid by BRP for doing it.

Not sure of your location, or experience with boating... but in Canada you are required to register the skis and all operators need to obtain a Pleasure Craft Operators Card - http://www.boatsmartexam.com/en/

    Hope that helps.
