I have a 1994 SPX. While riding I noticed that the side of the cylinder wall was surprisingly cool to the touch. I also have a 1997 SLT 780 Polaris which has a thermostat and runs 140 degrees. the side of this motor you can still touch but it has warmth to where you can't hold it for long. I've read that the 94 SPX does not have a thermostat but should it hold some heat cause there barely was any.

I know heat kills these things so do I take this as a positive sign or something need to be fixed. And if I had to guess the polaris its 140 the Seadoo was like 100
