    Odyssey or Yuasa battery?

I have a 2010 FZS and FX SHO. I know the Odyssey gets good reviews but the cold crank amps are only 265 for the Odyssey vs 310 for the Yuasa. I don't have it in front of me, but I think last time I looked into it Yamaha recommends 310 cold cranking amps. I'll have the skis on a lake this year and will never have the opportunity to put them on a charger until I put them back in winter storage.

    The Yuasa model is: YUAM620BH-P
    Odyssey: PC625

Find the Deka battery for your ski. Best option out there. And I've tried yuasa and odyssey before.

Odyssey's are overrated. Get an agm battery from batteries plus. Rated at 325 cca and mine that is a year old just tested out at 460 cca

Thats what I have. It is a Deka made battery. Very very good battery, much better than the Odyssey and I have both.

Ya mine looks like a dekka rebadged. Go that route! My last one was the same and lasted 3 years before testing bad(but still started ski).

I have been using Deka batteries for over 17 years with very good results.

Believe it or not, my Honda that I bought new in 07 still has the OEM battery in it. I believe it is a Yuasa.

I'd get this one and save some serious weight.. I use one in my motorcycle and I can feel the difference of getting rid of the lead/acid anchor..

My 08 Kawi still has the original AGM Yuasa also. I had an Odyssey in my GP and it did not last long.
