    Supercharger Re-Install?

There's a great how-to on getting it out on the site. Mine is in the hands of Jerry at this time(or at least at his house). But there isn't much on putting it back in. I assume the steps are pretty much reverse but I want to make sure that there isn't places/parts I need to grease, lube, loctite, antisieze, or anything like that. I have read a few threads that mentioned a few things but I wanted to see if I could get you guys to maybe put all your info here and then maybe even make it a sticky in the how-to for future people like myself. Thanks for any help and advice.

Red loctite on the nut that tigtens the clamp that holds the j pipe to the exhaust manifold. and Anit seize on the sc where it connects to the block dont be shy with it. Those are the olny 2 i can think of

Thats about it, really...Blue loctite if you want on the S/C bolts to the engine. I would make sure the j-pipe, water box are all seated and in proper position before tightening it to the exhaust manifold.

That is one great write-up...he must be really smart

Just remember to have that SCer nut red loctited and torqued properly. Like they said Anti-seize, or marine grease the orings and seat area....Obviously you'll need new clamps to replace the OE clamps on the SC-to-TB hose. SS worm drive will work. Thats about it, happy wrenching!

Go real slow when putting it in (that's what she said ) while slightly twisting back and fourth- you may feel it stop when the teeth on the two gears meet. Stick your finger in and spin the impeller just a bit to mesh the gears properly and you'll be home free.
