Only cheapest new I found for mine was on eBay too. 200$ for new one from seadoo dealer was nuts to me. I just followed the sticky thread for removing the F1 fuse and soldering the connection tonight. Gauge is now working. Once I got past the worry of using my soldering iron to melt a rectangle to gain access to the fuse it was very simple. Only concern I have is why the F1 fuse pops. The fuse is barely larger than a big piece of sand.

Most of the ones I repaired had rust that comes down from the top, was all I could tell on why the one I fixed were shorted out, Im by no means an electronic guy, but how do we even know its not a type of resister, that would explain why it shorts out to a point do to life span Of any circuit.

So I just want to have something clarified. If I hook up my meter to the baffle and tip it back and forth it should show between 1.0 and 89.9 ohms and if it does that all is good right?

Take a jumper wire and crossover the lead running to fuel baffle to see if you get a full tank reading, if so then, if your baffle does not give you a full reading with a full tank of gas or what you have in it, then your baffle needs to be repaired or replaced, I have a few good used working baffles for only $50 shipped
