Adjusting tongue weight for Triton dual axle double PWC trailer

First let me say how much I appreciate the forum and great posts. The big day is getting closer. As mentioned earlier we are buying a 2013 wake 215 and rxt x260.

My trailer has arrived a triton WC 2-2 tandem axle aluminum. Does anyone have any advice on setting up the trailer in terms of the bunks, bow stops, etc. the dealer is ten hours away, so I want to be As ready as I can be before arrival.

Next Saturday I will be on my way home.

    Thanks Don.

    Congratulations on the new purchases.

Have you looked through the Trailer section on Greenhulk?

There is a lot of good info already posted on how to configure a trailer properly.

You don't need tandem axel for hauling 2 skis.
I've got the triton elite 2 ski trailer and it pulls great.
I've had many many trailers and the triton is in every way the best.

I bet that tandem axle trailer rides really nice. Someday soon the modern skis are going to be big enough and heavy enough to need a tandem axle double trailer.

Thanks for the comments. I bought tandem because we will be doing a long distance trip each year.

I don't see how a tandem trailer makes for a better road trip trailer. I've put over 30k miles on my triton double. Only issues I've had is a few blow outs...
I've only got 2 tires to possibly have issues with and your going to have 4..

    Just my .02

Not to mention more rolling resistance with 4 tires. I wonder why they even build a tandem axle trailer for only 2 skis. I bet it is a smoother ride though.

Just wondering what that tandem axle beast cost. My single axle elite was 2000 bucks with the aluminum wheels and tax.

...there's a certain 'cool' factor to tandems though.., gotta admit.

WC2-2 in aluminum with torsion axles and disc brakes on front axle woulda been my choice too...

a four place would be even better...

Trailer was 2899. I'm located on the east coast of Canada. Double galvanised single axle was 2100.00
