I am also looking for the o-ring that goes on the drive shaft that slides into the impeller. and 3 44mm carb to intake gaskets.

That is an excellent question, and I am wondering the same thing.

I think it might be possible, but here is my concern:

I bet its pretty hard to torque the engine to the hull with the head pipes in the way. If you had the fuel tank out it might be feasible??

He did... but I'm not sure of the differences between the engine hatches on the SLT 750 and Pro 785, if any.

I think the opening on the three seater is larger. I will measure it if you want me to. The next time I do it I will remove the bedplate as I had to use the large SLT bedplate which is a good six inches longer on the mag end. It was a tight fit. The one problem I had was trying to rotate it with the bedplate installed I had to remove the motor mounts on the right side so next time I will install the bedplate after it is rotated in the hull.

They were also on. I would recommend installing them after droppin the engine in. That will give you another few inches when you need to rotate it.

Just make sure you have plenty of helping hands, and it really helps to have it suspended like Beerdart has pix of.....it would get heavy really fast when it gets wedged into a wrong area
