Rebuilt Engine...ski does not start now!!
Recently rebuilt my engine over the winter and now I finally have everything hooked up but the ski does not start. I can put the key in and I can hear the starter relay click. I first thought it was the starter relay so I swapped it out with another. Same problem. Also tried hooking up another battery. Same problem.
However, every time I press the start/stop button the starter relay clicks and the ski electronics would turn "ON" every time I would click the button. Basically my fuel pump recycles back ON after I press the button every time. Is this normal?

Check your earth's. Try put a jumper lead from the neg battery terminal to a good engine earth and retry. Are you getting 2short beeps when you key on?.

another stupid question. can you turn the engine over manually by grabbing the driveshaft? was the engine test spun after assembly?

Starter relays are a known weak point. The last time I went to the doo dealership and got 1 they had over 50+ in stock. If that doesn't tell you they fail a lot I don't know what does...

I will remove everything tomorrow to double check all the wiring. I also tried jumping the starter relay with a screwdriver and it just clicked like how it would when I tried pressing the start button.
