Help removing Yamaha gp1300 Meter Assembly
Hey guys. I just purchased a new meter assembly for my 2006 Yamaha GP1300r. Was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of how to remove and replace it? I promise if you help I'll take a video of me doing it to post to the boards / youtube

-Remove the port side cowling (left). Consists of 1 bolt by the glove box, 2 bolts near the foot well, and 2 bolts under the hood inside where the bucket goes.
-Unscrew the oil cap and let it hang.
-Grab the cowling firmly at the top front and back with both hands and yank hard outwards. You will think you are breaking something but its okay.
-Remove 2 front nuts that go to the instrument cluster bezel. These are inside the hood area also where the bucket goes and are in the hull. There are 2 studs that are vertical and both have nuts and washers.
-Now you can lift up the front of the inst cluster bezel enough to get a 1/4 drive extension and a 5/16 (or 7mm) socket to reach the 2 nuts holding the bracket on the back of the inst cluster. There are 2 nuts, and a metal bracket will come off and out the left side.
-Pull the cluster out and unplug all wires/connectors, and pull them up thru the big grommet in the top of the hull

i dunno, i must be terrible at it, but ive broken tabs like that every time. i now take everything off with the center cowl. and disasseble when i can see everything... its only 2 more bolts on the cowl under the glove box, and take the steering wheel off.
