Do Catch Cans work as advertised?

Do they perform as described? Simple enough to install but are there any noted or experienced drawbacks?

I have the Riva catch can on my 2011 rxtx and have no complaints, it does work and i have to drain it occasionally, i like that it keeps all of the blow-by gases out of the intake so they are not re-burned and causing a slight loss in performance

They do work as advertised. They both are good products, but I like the Riva over the Fizzle simply because the Riva is slightly transparent and you can see how much you have in there.

The improvement comes from a 4" air intake over the restrictive stock air intake setup. The engine vapors are routed back into the SC, which also gums up the SC and IC with the STOCK setup. The catch can is used to simply catch the liquid and keep it out of the SC and IC.

Sorry guys, I should have thought of that before I made them. I'm going to be focusing on intercoolers in the future so I won't be making another run, or else I would change the design to better fit your needs.

I just run a breather. Do the same on my 300c as I did with my race car. Never once had any issues with them spitting crap out.

I would not think that spitting out cumbustables into a partially enclosed hull would be a good idea? BOOM look rocket man imp0ster !

When I bought my ski I was still tuning it In but it had a homemade catch container.
I was amazed at the gas and stuff that accumulated after one run.

That was after a 15-20 run.
    (It was running rich)

It now has a riva catch can and I drain some out after everyride.
