You ever run into another guy that works in the area named Curt? Big guy .. Loves Coors Light!
I believe he was doing underwater welding on the marinas for awhile.

Hey where exact do you live? Didn't you just move out here from FL? Your avatar says you live in Temple Bar, AZ...that's just the marina itself, right?

(2) I got a job with FOREVER RESORTS, so I stay at the marina
I lived in CA for quite awhile before going to FL. ALWAYS came to Mead for my best skiing adventures.
FL for 2 yrs to check it out and see what that corner of the country is all about. Will NOT go back to California, 'cept to visit. I'll probably be here untill the lake dries up...

Damn man id love to come riding with you but my head gasket started coming apart since last summer and into the Fall. That's when I confirmed it and parked it in the garage before I did any real damage to it. So, it's due for a complete rebuild and I need to finish shopping around in that issue. Id LOVE to make the Blythe meet this year but not sure yet if it will be fixed by then...plus, the Blythe meet is the 1st day of some vacation time I have then, so I'm not positive I could make Blythe even if the ski is done by then.

How long have you been living in NV now?
Have you "gotten around" yet?
Because Callville Bay is a good launch since it drops you right in the lake near a handful of cool coves...launch, then go upstream about 1/2mi or more, hugging the same side of lake as Callville launch.
Where all have you ridden so far beside Temple area?

...ridden the whoooolllee lake.
We came here for years before we jetted to FL. for 2 years.
The lake level has changed quite a bit though; I want to ride Boulder, Virgin & Overton again to see how much they've changed... I'm thinkin north lake is a mud-puddle?

I didn't intend to come off as a 'sexual intellect' (fucking know-it-all); I would be happy to take input from other 'Meaders' on whats (still) cool, and whats 'out-of-the-water' now...
