Any reason this won't fit the 01 slx hull?

I do not know. I can only go by the hydro-turf listings. ( which we have found incorrect in the past with other hulls)

If the 99 & 01 are the same hull, I would sure think the foot pads are the same. If polaris changed the hull, well then the answer is obvious.

Does this kit need the Glue or is it allready on it?

    Hello David.

As shown on our web site, this is a "standard" Kit that requires contact cement for the install. I recommend DAP brand weld wood. It is not hard to do, I just mask off any area you do not want glue, use a cheap throw away paint brush, and brush it on the hull, and back sides of the mats. You have to let it dry. ( aprox 20 mins, depending on temp) then stick it down. Let sit for at least 24 hours before use.

I can get kits, with the 3m tape installed, if you want to order that way. These are easy to install, and really do work well as long as your surface is perfectly clean. The kits are pricey though.

    Dave,

I have plenty of the glue to use. It works really well. Its some sticky stuff.
