    2007 motor with 2005 head/rocker shaft

I remember seeing before a thread about mismatching 05/06+ parts but can't seem to find it now. I was wondering if I can run the 2005 head/rocker shaft on the 2007 motor ?

Yes you can, but you will need the OEM or Rotax oil restrictor mounted in the block...

If you can find and 06+ rocker, you will be fine...

    That was my understanding...

    03/04/05 rocker + restrictor =

    06+ rocker - restrictor =

don't quote me on this, I could be wrong (been forever since I did this) but I don't think an 04/05 restrictor will fit inside an 06+ block without the hole being drilled.

So would running no restrictor and an older rocker shaft over oil the top end or just cause low oil pressure ?
