ID:	325428Been working on this Yamaha SUV seems like forever now, today i was about to start installing rings and a piston slipped out of my hand and it got nicked right on the edge of the piston crown. I sanded down the raised metal but what do you guys think? This is an OEM Piston if it is decided that i should not reuse this one can i replace it with a WSM Piston while i reuse the other two OEM pistons? Pretty frustrated this rebuild has been one thing after another and more $$ than i expected.

Thanks. I was worried that I'd need to reply the piston. Ring groove was not affected.

yeah if you sanded the nick smooth it won't create a hot spot. Can't even tell.

Looks ok to me as long as not on side of the piston.
