    Guide To Revs

Finally got my parts on ski
    riva washers
    votech sc
    14/19 solas
    riva grate
    new wear ring (plastic)
big thanks to jerry for washers, turns out i was just in time they had just sarted to go,and thanks to rxp steve the vortech sc its greeat !
i new i had a knackerd impellar and wearring but the difference in power is more than i expected with new parts completly different animal now
revs are instant but i think a bit high 8500 and i wasnt on a flat
the 14/19 solas was standard iam thinking it needs pitching or maybe just go straight for bigger prop
still havent got a bigger airfilter or wedge yet !

any guides to what revs i should be doing would be great

may be i know the 04 & 05 r 8200 & i belive the 06 r 2, but if the 06 would have a higher rev limter i would think every body would b turning more r's or would have tried it, but all u hear is people turning 8160, just a thought but maybe ur tac might b off like all the sea doo speedometer u might want 2 check it out

I was turning 8150 before the S1 the 14/19R needed mean pitching. I've Heard from multiple people including Jerry that the stock tach is very Accurate.

don't put too much faith in the stock tach...Now I agree that 200 rpms would be a bit extreme but I have run my Stage II 04 with a paet tach (highly accurate to 20 rpms increments) and seen as much as a 60 rpms incorrect reading by the stock tach using different AAT shuttles...

    They can be off...

I agree. I have had a few experiences with two different RXP's that have led me to believe that these stock tachs aren't as accurate as some believe. I will probably be installing an aftermarket tach in my RXP this year for that reason.
