Does anyone own the newly released Glock 42?

Just curious if anyone picked up a new Glock 42?

Yep, mine's great and no malfunctions. Also my wife has pretty much stolen it from me because its such a soft easy shooter so I may be forced to get another one.

Damn. I still have not even seen one in person yet. I went to a Houston gun show a couple of weeks ago hoping to get to feel one up, but there where none.
Probably a good thing, because I would have bought one.

There were none at the Crossroads gun show last Saturday either, my LGS gets them in from time to time and as I'm a good customer lol they held one for me. They also sell them for msrp $399 instead of the msrp+ everyone else is selling them for.

It's run great with everything I've loaded it with so far: Rem UMC, Blazer Aluminum and Fed Hydra-Shok which is what I carry when I carry a .380

Crossroads will be back in late April and at the fairgrounds this time so it will be "the big one" and will have way more vendors there and some better deals to hunt for.

Here is a 2,000 round endurance test (with video) I did a month or so ago on a Glock 42. I'm the big ugly guy in black, incessantly chewing gum.

It has now been picked up by Glock's Facebook page and is slowly going viral on the firearms community.

The absolute only small negative is that the trigger is slightly mushier on take up than the typical Glock trigger, it's gotten better as I've broken it in but it's still just slightly mushy. Small nit to pick, nothing major or a reason to not get one as it doesn't affect shooting it at all, just pointing it out and maybe it was just mine.
