Thread: Impeller socket

Has anyone found anything to work at there local store to remove the impeller? I have seen someone use an old drive shaft and a pipe wrench to remove an impeller. But I don't have one. I know the sockets are cheap on ebay but I'm short on time. Any ideas?

an old drive shaft bent 90 degrees and a 2 foot pipe on the end of it.

depends on what make andmodel you're working on, could have been tighten to 70-100 foot lbs with loctite.
