Steering column on 2011 Seadoo GTI

    Hello everybody,

As I am tall, I'm not totally comfortable for navigating with the original steering column on my GTI.
I wanted to improve that by mounting a RXT-X RS 260 steering column but it is even worse.
In fact, I realized that the steering column on seadoo RXTX/RXPX is more angled. I'm not sure that I can mount the upper part of the bodywork in order to have the same assembly.

Is there someone who has an idea to fix this? Who has already mounted a steering column made to measure on seadoo GTI (new models)?

    Thanks,
    Fabrice

Get a ski with adjustable steering.

Replacing what you've got can get expensive quick.

Yes, of course, it can be very expensive.
However, I am not sure that it is more interesting to change my ski. I like Seadoo watercraft and only few of them have an adjustable steering column.

That's why I am looking for a solution keeping my GTI.

Yep I meant a used one. There's a setup in the classifieds at the moment for $250, I assume you could.make an early rxp setup fit if you really wanted to. Then he can choose a bar with whatever height he wants. Sounds like there aren't many other options.

Yes, if you read my first message, I have already tried the RXP steering column but it doesn't fit very well.
