1999 GP800 Waverunner Engine
What is the most I should pay for an used engine in working condition? Top half, bottom half or top and bottom half
There are some old posts where people have sold them but I am wondering what a good price is at this point in time.
Thanks for the your time in advance.

Finding a "working condition" 800 motor is tough. To rebuild one, the parts cost roughly 1400 or so if you need a new crank. SBT charges 1200 for a rebuilt one with an exchange of one that is not broken (and I do not recommend them). You are almost better off buying a running ski for roughly 1500.

I have a clean, fresh water, low hour 2000 GP 800 here, I am going to part out. Motor is in excellent shape. even compression, etc.
1000.00 + s&h for the short block. This would be cases, assembled with crank, cyls, head, and will include exh valves.
NOT included, electrics, carbs, intake, reeds, or exhaust. I have these, and will sell at extra cost.
For payment I take VISA and Master card. Feel free to call the shop 608-743-2305 to order.
