    How to remove exhaust baffel 06 RXP

    Is there a trick to this?? Remove vts???

    either remove the VTS, or unbolt the throttle body...it will come out then.

    Throttle body trick is easier, i've done both.

    i tried the taking off the throttle body on my 04 rxp but couldn't get the big piece no wear close 2 the location of the throttle body 2 get it out so i just took off the vts & it just slip right out then

    If i were to take off the throttle body....is there anything I should/shouldn't do?

    DOnt unhook anything off the throttle body just unscrew the 4 bolts and set it on top of the engine there shoudl be enouygh slack int he wires.
    You have to push the coolant hoses out of the way.and it shoudl come out. its key top get the coolant hoses in the right spot and the res will aqueeze right through.

    i have the VTS tool from seadoo, good tools to have...it was like 20bucks..i got mine from the local dealer, (took his and he ordered another one) i found it easier to take the vts out of the way...

    I made my own VTS out of a socket and tubing, cuz I COULD...remind me of an aluminum baseball bat...

    i took off the throttle body. as long as the battery is out you can unhook the connectors on the TB and remove the TB completely for more room. just be carfull you're not pulling on any wires when you try to pull the resonator out. it takes a few minutes of fighting but it will come out.

    I was able to remove the throttle body and remove the baffle.
